John has participating in multi-billion dollar acquisitions and divestitures, and has an extensive network of impeccable relationships throughout the industry.
Steven Adamcik
Steven Adamcik has over 15 years experience managing and commercially optimising natural gas pipelines, gas processing plants and condensates stabilisation facilities, including P&L responsibility. He is highly successful at creating unit holder value, originating green field development of pipelines, gas processing plants and condensating stabilisation facilities. From 2001 to 2010 Steven worked with El Pasco Energy in Houston, Texas, where he was responsible for attaching new gas supplies to EP’s pipeline system, initiating commercial agreements between pipelines and natural gas processing plants, and developing and promoting supply area pipeline expansions. From 2011 to 17 Steven was the VP of Business Development for Plains Gas Solutions, an affiliate of Plains All American Pipeline. He led four senior professionals responsible for growing the company through capital investments in natural gas processing plants, condensate stabilisers and NGL pipelines.
Andy Lukas
Andy Lukas is Managing Director of AJ Lucas Constructions Pty Ltd. He has over 40 years experience in the pipeline and drilling industry across Australia, the USA and South East Asia. He pioneered the development in Australia of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) in 1990, commencing operation of Australia’s first rigs. He developed AJ Lucas to be a world leader in this specialised HDD field as well as the production of coal seam gas using Horizontal Directional Drilling. He is a former President of the International Pipeline and Offshore Contractors Association and also former President of the Australian Pipeline and Gas Industry Association. Andy has overseen the projects that have broken world HDD records.
Stefano Rosina
Stefano Rosina has over 30 years’ experience in the Maritime sector running a stock listed company and is CEO of Rosina and Partners, sourcing and executing shipping investment opportunities.
Stefano has a degree in Economics from Genoa University, with a specialisation in Shipping Finance and after two years working as an Analyst at Oceanic Financial Services in London, he joined the family business, Navigazione Italiana as a Manager.
Here, Stefano arranged the takeover of the Italian stock listed shipping company Premuda, one of the leading dry bulk shipping companies in Italy, becoming General Manager and expanding the international business by opening offices abroad and commencing joint ventures.
Stefano was one of the first to understand the full potential of FPSO vessels, developing an Aframax to provide FPSO services in Western Australia.
Alidad Moaveni
Alidad Moaveni is Senior Partner and Chief Operating Officer of AllMerus Energy Ltd. He has structured, negotiated and executed multiple investments in the energy and infrastructure sector, with a focus on power and renewables. He is a member of the New York and California Bar and on the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales. He graduated with an LLM from Cambridge University, Trinity Hall and a JD, Order of the Coif, from the University of Southern California.
Heinz-Dieter Waffel
Heinz-Dieter Waffel is Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer of AllMerus Energy Ltd. Prior to becoming an investment professional at AllMerus, he had a successful career as a senior executive at a string of major international utilities companies. He was Head of Sales and Trading and on the Management Board of the largest German utility, E.ON, Chief Commercial Officer of Preussen Elektra, and prior to that ran the 30GW wholesale operations of the Tennessee Valley Authority. He also helped establish, and was Chairman of the Board, of the European Energy Exchange.
Stephen Valelly
Stephen Valelly is currently a Managing Director for XO Wealth Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor managing the financial affairs of global HNWIs. In the past he has been Principal and Partner of Coral Rock Investments, Inc., a CFTC registered firm advising institutional clients such as Merrill Lynch, Chase Manhattan, and Coutts and Co. on their currency related products. In addition, Stephen was President of BankBoston International and held management responsibility for the bank’s international private bank and Edge Act units in Cayman, Bahamas, Miami, Boston, New York and Los Angeles.
Ali Hedayat
Ali Hedayat started his career with Goldman Sachs in 1997 as an analyst on the power and utilities section. He has held various positions in the Principal Strategies division culminating by being appointed co-head of the unit in 2007. He left in 2010 to become the co-founder of Edoma capital, a 2 billion USD hedge fund as well as co-founder of the Markor fund in 2013. He currently is the founder and MD of Maryana capital and sits on the board of Restaurants Brand International.
Shamim Diouman
Shamim Diouman is a Senior Financial Services Expert for the World Bank, IMF, and the German Government. He is currently leading and has led a number of advisory projects in Europe, Central Asia, South East Asia and Africa reforming banks and assessing financial sector governance procedures. Shamim worked for the European Banking Authority in London in the area of banking regulation and training of EU supervisors and regulators. Previously, he was at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) as Manager of Risk and Regulation working on the architecture of financial regulation. He has also worked at the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA), now part of Bank of England. Shamim represented the FSA at a number of international organisations and high level committees. He was the Vice Chair of the IAIS Accounting subcommittee.
Stuart Patton
Stuart Patton’s background is mainly in corporate business development working in large and small firms at board levels, sectors covering, manufacturing, medical, mobile, digital and now Edtech. He has been based in Asia for 15 years, the last three years of which he has been working closely with Finland and Finnish Edtech and the startup scene. He is the co-founder of Polkuni HK, a Hong Kong and Helsinki brand that is both an investment and market activation company – linking the best Finnish education products to the Asian markets. Stuart is also the co-creator of a Helsinki-based company called KOKOA standard, the first company in the world to carry out evaluations of Edtech products to determine their educational quality. To date, KOKOA has evaluated products from 23 countries. Stuart is also the Chairman of the FinnCham education committee in Hong Kong whose goal is to raise awareness of the Finnish education system. He is also vice Chair of the FinnCham board in Hong Kong.
Alongside his portfolio of roles, Stuart is a mentor and advisor to education based entities in Finland, and to Hong Kong and Malaysia based entities who are adopting Finnish educational approaches and philosophy.
